If This Was a Movie by Taylor Swift Remix

This is how I’m feeling right now.  This song says it all.  If you’re interested, you can read my remix of Taylor’s lyrics.  I remixed it so it made more since for my situation.  I hope you like it… it’s not that different though.  Just a couple tweaks here and there.  I kept my favorite of her lyrics the same.

Verse 1:

Last night I hear my own heart beating, it sounded like footsteps on my stairs

2 months gone and I’m still reaching, even though I know you’re not there

I’ve been playing back a thousand memories baby, thinking ‘bout all the things we’d been through

Maybe I’ve been going back too much lately, when time stood still

And I had you

Chorus:

Come back, come back, come back to me-e like

You would, you would if this was a movie

Standing by me forever with no doubts

If you, if you, if you’d really loved me

You would, I know you would have kept your promise

I knew we could’ve worked it out somehow

But if this was a movie, you’d be here by now

Verse 2:

I know people grow up, these things happen, but I remember how it was for us

And my boyfriend could do was throw words at me, ‘cause he knew that he and I weren’t as in love

And now I’m pacing back and forth, just a blur I see

Flash back to the time when you said to me

That was in your heart, it would never change… if only I had known how to play your game

CHORUS

Bridge:

If you’re out there, if you’re somewhere, if you’re moving on

Well I’ve been waiting for you ever-y since you been gone

I just want it back the way if was before

Before you took my heart and threw it on, the, floor

Last Chorus:

But darling, come back, come back, come back to me-e like

You could, if only you had stayed right by me

We could take back the tears that we’ve both shed

And finish what we left unsaid

Come back, come back, come back to me-e like

You could, you could if you just said you’re sorry

Myles, I know we’d work it out somehow

But if this was a movie, you’d be here by now
